Following Up on Estimates
The fortune is in the follow-up. Here's how to close more deals.
Automatic Follow-Ups
Set up automatic reminders:
- Go to Settings → Follow-ups
- Enable "Automatic Follow-ups"
- Set your schedule:
- First follow-up: 2 days after sending
- Second follow-up: 5 days after sending
- Final follow-up: 10 days after sending
- Customize message templates
Manual Follow-Up
To follow up manually:
- Go to Estimates → Sent
- Find the estimate
- Click "Follow Up"
- Choose: Email, Call reminder, or SMS
- Customize your message
- Send
AI Follow-Up Messages
Let AI draft your follow-up:
- Click "Follow Up" on any estimate
- Select "Generate with AI"
- AI creates a personalized message
- Edit if needed
- Send
Track Opens and Views
Know when clients engage:
- Blue dot: Estimate has been viewed
- View count: Number of times opened
- Last viewed: When they last looked
Use this info to time your follow-up calls.
Follow-Up Best Practices
- Follow up within 48 hours if not viewed
- Call (don't just email) after 3-5 days
- Mention specific project details
- Create urgency with limited-time offers
- Know when to stop (after 5 attempts)
